My journey into instructional design began while learning and teaching languages during my college years. As I expanded into teaching digital literacy skills, training new hires, and delivering training workshops, I discovered my true passion is helping adults learn... and not just languages. So, I pivoted to a career in learning experience design and elearning development.

 

I can take your training to the next level with scenario-based learning, interactive simulations, training transformations, among other training solutions.

I went to school for Linguistics at the University of Virginia. My journey into instructional design began while learning and teaching languages during my college years.

 

As I expanded into teaching digital literacy skills, training new hires, and delivering training workshops to community members, I discovered my true passion is helping adults learn new skills. So, I learned the theory and software, and put my skills into action.

ADDIE TAB INTERACTION

Tab interactions help manage cognitive load by presenting one chunk of information at a time. This example shows how a simple project can be both educational and visually appealing.

 

Storyline Functionalities

  • Adding text-to-speech for accessibility

FINAL ASSESSMENT

This final assessment evaluates whether learners have achieved specific learning objectives: "Identify which phases of ADDIE an instructional design task is associated with."

This interactive custom menu highlights learner choice, allowing users to control the order in which they engage with content.

  • Importing PowerPoint and Storyline files and adding entrance animations

I'm a passionate learning experience designer with 8 years of experience. I've worked across various industries, including higher education and nonprofits. I'm impressed with how Wilson approaches learning design challenges. He takes a holistic approach, never losing sight of the overarching needs of the learners.
